IndependentBaseball.net was contacted by the owner of the current Yuma Panthers team. According to the owner, market research on the ground in Yuma has found that fans aren’t thrilled with the current team names; and, as a result, he has decided to get suggestions for a new team name.
Baseball fans from across the country (not just the Yuma Arizona area) are encouraged to suggest up to 3 team names. Next week, the ownership will have another voting on those team names which have the most fan suggestions during this first week.
