In 2008, the Corpus Christi Beach Dawgs of the Continental Baseball League signed 4-foot-6 wrestler, “Little Kato” (http://www.halfpintbrawlers.com/site/castbios.html ), to a one-game contract. It was supposed to be in honor of Eddie Gaedel who batted for Bill Veeck’s team – the St. Louis Browns – in 1951.
