The team will be managed by Matt Stark, who was originally scheduled to be involved with the Southwestern States League. The team is owned by last year’s United League executives, Byron Pierce and John Bryant.

Here is a local article about a local investor, Preston Henrichson, who is partnering with John Bryant and Byron Pierce to operate the Thunder. The article also mentions that Doug Leary, current GM for the Edinburg Roadrunners, also will handle the business duties for the Thunder for the 2011 season.

Is this a joke of some sort? This guy Stark was coaching high school baseball last year in California. And yeah, well he must of tore up those know nothing high school coaches. Stark’s record? 8-14 and 0-12 in his own league! Look for yourself
