Earlier this week the Somerset Patriots held an event for marketing partners and guests, which featured the formal introduction of Brett Jodie as the team’s new manager. He replaces Sparky Lyle who will assume a public relations role with the team after 15 consecutive years at the team’s field manager. Lyle was the first full-time employee for the Patriots, hired on to promote the team and recruit talent before the Atlantic League ever threw a pitch.
