Last night the Alpine Cowboys defeated the San Rafael Pacifics to win the 2024 Pecos League championship. It was the second game of a best-of-3 series for the league title.
This is the fourth league championship in Cowboys history and is now on the Champions page of this website which lists all independent pro baseball league champions going back to 1993:
The Cowboys won league championships in 2010 (as the Big Bend Cowboys in the final year of the Continental Baseball League), 2012, 2019, and now 2024.
