Abilene Prairie Dogs And McAllen Thunder End Their Seasons Early

Two teams in the North American League’s United League division ended their seasons early, with modifications being made to the schedule to finish out the regular season for the division.  The NAL’s Northern Division season is already completed with the San Rafael Pacifics having won the division’s championship.

The Abilene Prairie Dogs and McAllen Thunder are both done for the regular season.  Their websites are still up, but nothing has been added since the August 26/27 time frame. Here are the articles of interest:

The status of these teams is uncertain.  They may return in 2013, they may fold, or they may move to other locations.  Once information is forthcoming then it will be posted on this site.
