Our Prayers Go Out To Cory Snyder And His Family

In his blog last week, Bob Wirz reported that Cory Snyder – manager of the new independent league baseball team in Maui (Golden League) – and his family received news that his daughter suffered significant injuries resulting from an auto accident.

  1. I am interested in a coaching job with an independent pro baseball team most anywhere.I would appreciate a response.I will forward a resume upon request.Lots of experience as a player/coach.I have owned/operated baseball/football camps from New Jersey to Florida with sterling results.I would appreciate a response.I wouldn’t mind coaching overseas if the opportunity presents itself. Thanks for your time.

    • Anthony, most of the teams are all set with their coaching staff selections for the season. Your best bet is to get on their “radar screens” for a late-season replacement, much like players not invited to spring training should being doing now. Without pro experience it will be tougher than usual, but not out of the question. Consider starting with the lower-level independent leagues.
