The Southwestern States League appears that it may not operate in 2011. A blog post came out today about this:
There is additional private confirmation of this, but it is not yet available for public display. Once confirmed then the additional information will be posted.
The website for the league (http://www.southwesternstatesleague.com) also has reverted back to Pointstreak.com. This is indicative of another sign that the league is not going to operate.
There is no word yet about the coaches and players who signed contracts with the league and/or the announced teams. Once that information becomes public then it will be made available.
