Many aspiring professional players paid to play in the instructional/developmental Arizona Winter League this past month. According the league’s website, 66 players were offered contracts and, presumably, are going to spring training. The players who were signed are spread across a multitude of leagues including:
- North American League
- American Association
- Pecos League
- Frontier League
- Japanese international league
- German international league
One player even got signed out of the league to the Boston Red Sox organization:
