QUEBEC'S SIKULA NAMED PITCHER OF THE WEEK

The official statistician of the Can-Am League, Pointstreak, has announced that Quebec Capitales RHP Arik Sikula (pictured) has been named this week’s Pointstreak Pitcher of the Week for the week ending August 6. Skilua, the league’s Rawlings Pitcher of the Month for July, previously won the award for the week ending July 9. This week, the Vonore, Tenn. resident made two starts, earning two wins and striking out 16 hitters in 15.2 innings.
