After dropping the first two games in their four-game series, the Aigles struck back, winning on Saturday and winning Sunday’s finale in extra innings to earn the series split. With LF Javier Herrera (pictured) at the plate and the bases loaded in the tenth, Herrera smacked the ball to the third baseman who made an error and allowed the eventual winning run to score. Herrera finished with two hits in the narrow victory.Elsewhere, the Capitales defeated the Miners 4-3 to earn the series sweep.
