The Sussex County Miners broke a 3-3 tie in the top of the 12th inning and then held on to claim a 5-4 win against the Trois-Rivieres Aigles. In the top of the 12th, SS Jarred Mederos scored the go-ahead run as CF Adron Chambers (pictured) reached on an error. Chambers later scored a crucial insurance run as 1B Chase McDonald grounded out. In the bottom of the frame, SS David Glaude scored on a sac fly from CF Julio Martinez and the Aigles proceeded to load up the bases with two outs but reliever Mark McCoy (3-2) struck out RF Brenden Webb to end the game and earn the win.Elsewhere, Ottawa beat New Jersey 7-2 in 12 and Quebec topped Rockland 5-1.
