The Aigles picked up their 18th win of the season on Friday night by defeating the Capitales 4-3, as LF Julio Martinez (pictured) drove in two runs on the night. The Aigles struck first in the second inning, when 1B Trevor Gretzky hit a RBI single. The Capitales took a 3-1 lead in the second inning, thanks to two run scoring doubles and a RBI single. One of those doubles came off the bat of RF Marcus Knecht. The double was his 11th of the year. The Aigles came storming back in the seventh, as three runs crossed the plate to take a decisive 4-3 lead. Martinez provided the big bat in the inning, connecting on a two-run double as the Aigles went on to win 4-3.Elsewhere, the Boulders defeated the Miners 8-7 and the Champions defeated the Jackals 8-2.
