Washington, Pa. – This week’s Wild Things’ homestand is full of fun at Wild Things Park starting on the first day Washington plays at home. Tuesday is Pup Patrol night at the ballpark, presented by Rachel Ray Nutrish. Bring your favorite four-legged friend with its vaccination papers for a night at the park. Each fan with a dog at the gate will receive a Wild Things’ puppy bandana. The fun picks up on Winner Wednesday, presented by the Pennsylvania lottery, while Thursday is Throwback and Thirsty Thursday again at Wild Things Park with special prices on beer. The weekend series against the Slammers starts with a free shirt Friday where the first 500 fans receive an American-themed shirt with a postgame fireworks display that will surely dazzle. On Saturday, not only do the first 500 fans receive a stove pip American hat, but there will be a hot dog eating contest open to fans for $10 with the winner taking home a cash prize. Sunday is Kids Day. The kids can run the bases as well as get autographs after the game.
