Sioux City 5, Kansas City 4 (10 Innings) – Box Left fielder Jayce Ray scored the game winning run on a bases loaded walk in the top of the 10th inning as the Sioux City Explorers defeated the Kansas City T-Bones, 5-4. Sioux City took a 4-1 lead into the bottom of the seventh only to see Kansas City DH Kevin Keyes belt a three-run home run to tie the contest up at 4-4 and eventually force extra innings. Explorers SS Nate Samson went 3-for-5 with a home run while 1B John Nogowski and C Dylan Kelly each had two hits, a run scored and a RBI. Sioux City pitcher Todd Eaton tossed two scoreless innings of relief to earn his third win of the year. Eaton gave up a hit and struck out two in the six batters faced. Lincoln 4, Texas 3 – Box First baseman Curt Smith singled home 2B Cesar Valera with the go-ahead in the eighth inning as the Lincoln Saltdogs defeated the Texas AirHogs, 4-3.
