O’FALLON, Mo. – St. Louis Cardinals 1987 World Series Game 5 hero Curt Ford will be at CarShield Field on Monday, June 26th as the River City Rascals take on the Gateway Grizzles at 6:35PM. Ford will be throwing out a ceremonial first pitch before the Rascals game and be part of a meet and greet with fans. Rascals fans attending the game will have the opportunity to get complimentary autographs and pose for photos with Ford during the game on the main concourse. The Rascals will also be hosting a Rascals Facebook contest @RascalsBaseball. One lucky fan that likes and shares the Rascals Curt Ford post will be randomly selected to go down on the field and actually catch Curt Ford’s first pitch before the Rascals game as part of a private meet and greet experience. The St. Louis Cardinals selected Ford in the fourth round of the 1981 Major League Baseball Draft. He made his MLB debut with the Cardinals on June 22, 1985.
