JOYNT'S THREE RBI DAY LEADS JACKALS PAST CAPITALES

The Jackals took Sunday’s finale to win the weekend series, winning two out of three games to improve their record to 18-11. The Jackals did most of their damage in the first three innings, scoring four runs over that span. They scored two runs in the first to run out to a 2-0 lead, thanks to a RBI double from DH Brian Burgamy, followed by a RBI single from LF Brian Joynt (pictured). Joynt was the hero of the game, finishing with three hits and three RBIs in the victory. Elsewhere, the Boulders beat Dominican Republic 13-3, The Miners defeated the Aigles 11-10 in 11 innings and the Champions topped the Cuban National Team 14-6.
