TOPA NAMED PITCHER OF THE WEEK

The official statistician of the Can-Am League, Pointstreak, has announced that Rockland Boulders RHP Justin Topa (pictured) has been named this week’s Pointstreak Player of the Week for the week ending June 4. Topa made two starts this week, and earned a pair of victories. His first start came Monday against the Ottawa Champions in game one of Rockland’s Memorial Day doubleheader. Over five innings, Topa did not allow a run, gave up just two hits and did not walk a batter. He struck out four hitters as Rockland rolled 10-0.
