St. Paul 8, Cleburne 3 — Final/15 Innings — Box Score With the game tied at 3-3 after nine innings, the St. Paul Saints and the Cleburne Railroaders headed to extra innings. It wasn’t until the 15th inning, when C Tony Caldwell (pictured) sent a three-run home run over the fence to spark a late-night rally, that a winner was decided. Caldwell’s shot, his third of the year, scored RF Danny Oh and SS Jon Kristofferson to give his team a 6-3 lead. Three batters later, 2B Tony Thomas doubled to plate 3B Nate Hanson and 1B Brady Shoemaker to reach the final 8-3 margin. Oh went 4-for-7 in the game and both Hanson and CF Tim Colwell added a pair of hits for the Saints. For the Railroaders, LF Devin Ahart went 2-for-6 with a runs scored and an RBI. The game, which lasted five hours and 15 minutes, set a new St. Paul franchise record for longest time of game. Lincoln 5, Texas 4 — Box Score After a wild ninth inning, LF Brandon Jacobs blasted a two-run, walk-off home run to give the Lincoln Saltdogs a 5-4 win against the Texas AirHogs.
