The Champions scored the first run in the fifth inning, on a RBI single from LF Matt Helms. The Champions added two more runs in the seventh inning, with a two-run double courtesy of C Daniel Grauer. The Miners stormed back, scoring five runs in a huge eighth inning. 2B Justin Trapp (pictured) hit the go-ahead two-run single in the eighth to lead the Miners to victory.In the other games, Quebec beat Rockland 9-3 and New Jersey beat Trois-Rivieres 7-5.
