NORMAL, Ill. – The CornBelters, presented by the Illinois Corn Growers, will return to The Corn Crib for a three-game home stand against the Lake Erie Crushers beginning Friday, May 26. The series will open with a CEFCU Entertaining Friday Night post-game firework show and a special salute to our armed forces, honoring enlisted and retired military service members. Additionally, Wish Bone Canine Rescue will be present for the first “Black Friday” of the season featuring a visit from black furred friends in need of a safe and loving home. State Farm employees and policyholders receive half-off single game tickets as a part of the second State Farm Saturday of the season on May 27. Fans are encouraged to wear their Cardinals gear and join the St. Louis Cardinals mascot Fred Bird Redbird at The Corn Crib. Fred Bird will be walking the concourse and available for photos and autographs with fans throughout the evening. Last weekend in recognition of Armed Forces Day, the CornBelters offered free entry to active duty and retired members of our armed forces.
