Winnipeg 3, Cleburne 4 – Box The Railroaders won in dramatic fashion Saturday night, winning in the bottom of the 9th on a walk-off single by 2B Mitch Glasser that scored RF KC Huth. Winnipeg took an early 2-0 lead in the 3rd before Cleburne tied it in the bottom of the inning. Cleburne took a 3-2 lead in the 4th before Winnipeg tied the game again in the 6th at three. LF Nick Van Stratten knocked in two runs in the win for Cleburne. 3B Brandon Tierney and DH Kewby Meyer each added two hits for the Railroaders. RHP Winston Abreu picked up the win in relief, pitching a perfect 9th and striking out two. 1B Shawn Pleffner went 3-4 in the losing effort, also scoring a run. LHP Kenny Mathews picked up the loss, allowing a walk and a run in a third of an inning for the Goldeyes. Salina 4, Wichita 3 (Game 1- 7 innings) – Box The Stockade was able to get revenge for its opening day loss on Friday, by beating the Wingnuts 4-3 on Saturday, thanks to two home runs from RF Daniel Aldrich.
