HOME RUNS ABOUND FOR CAN-AM PLAYERS IN SPRING TRAINING

Players of the Year Balbino Fuenmayor (Quebec, 2014) and Art Charles (pictured, New Jersey, 2016), bidding to squeeze they way onto Opening Day rosters, made big-time news with their first round-trippers of the major league spring training. Charles struck on Friday, one day ahead of Fuenmayor. But Stephen Cardullo (Rockland, 2013-15) did his best to steal the spotlight back on Sunday when he blasted his second grand slam of the Cactus League season (he also had one in the regular season for Colorado last year).
