Courtesy Texas AirHogs Media Relations Grand Prairie, Texas – The Texas AirHogs are pleased to announce Billy Martin Jr. as Field Manager and President of Baseball Operations for the organization. An alumnus of Texas Tech University, Martin Jr. was a two-sport athlete for the baseball and soccer team and earned his degree in Telecommunications. After college, Martin Jr. returned to the Dallas-Fort Worth area to begin his career in sports television, where he produced local and cable shows including fantasy baseball and football. After nine years in sports production, Martin Jr. made the transition to a professional baseball agent in 1995. As an agent for over two decades, Martin Jr. knows how to communicate with players and has a proven history of assisting his players in getting to the next level. “Being an agent for 20 years, I’ve worked for the player. I know what players want, I know what players need,” Martin Jr. said. AirHogs General Manager J.T.
