Durham, N.C. – The contract of New Jersey Jackals OF Michael O’Neill was purchased by the Detroit Tigers organization, the Can-Am League announced on Thursday.O’Neill, 28, was outstanding in his first season with the Jackals in 2016, leading the league with 134 hits, second all-time in Jackals franchise history. He finished third with 76 runs scored and fourth with a .338 batting average and .426 on-base percentage.
