New Jersey and Ottawa are now tied 1-1 in their first round series. In game one, it was all Jackals as they pounded out 18 hits and rolled to an 11-2 win. New Jersey had six batters with multi-hit games including C Richard Stock (pictured) who went 2-for-5 with two runs scored and three RBI. In game two, the Champions jumped out to a 4-0 lead after two innings of play and withstood a late rally by the Jackals to collect a 4-3 victory. Ottawa 2B Albert Cartwright and 3B Donal Duarte each had a pair of hits and a run scored.Game two of the first round series between Rockland & Quebec was postponed due to rain.
