For the bulk of the 2016 season, New Jersey Jackals RHP Lee Sosa (pictured) has been one of the most consistent pitchers in the Can-Am League. For his efforts, he has been recognized as the 2016 Can-Am League Rookie of the Year. Sosa has compiled a 9-6 record and 2.50 ERA over 23 games (18 starts). He has struck out 84 in 111.1 innings of work. He is tied for fourth in the league in victories, and ranks second in ERA, behind only Can-Am League Pitcher of the Year Austin Chrismon.
