The Miners grabbed a road win with a five-run top of the seventh, beating the Aigles 5-2. 3B Chris Jacobs (pictured) hit a three-run home run to blow the inning open and give the Miners the lead for good. His blast drove in 2B Nick Giarraputo and LF Jay Austin. Miners pitching dazzled in the win, with RHP Joe Donino allowing two runs, only one earned, on three hits over seven innings. He struck out eight and earned the win.Elsewhere, Rockland swept New Jersey 6-3 and 5-4 and Quebec beat Ottawa 7-1.
