The official statistician of the Can-Am League, Pointstreak, has announced that New Jersey Jackals INF Art Charles (pictured) has been named this week’s Pointstreak Player of the Week for the week ending August 28. Charles, a Can-Am League representative in the 2016 American Association All-Star Game, takes home the award for the fourth time this year, He previously won for the weeks ending June 12, June 19 and July 31. This week, he hit .500 (12-for-24) with two doubles, five home runs and an impressive 14 RBI.
