BOX SCORE AND GAME STATS USPBL 8/21 Update: Yetsko leads Unicorns to yet another win (with updated league stats leaders) By Adam Rickert Utica Unicorns 9 AT Eastside Diamond Hoppers 2 UTICA — The Utica Unicorns once again used their bats to cruise to another big victory. This time, it came in the form of a 9-2 thumping of the Eastside Diamond Hoppers on Sunday afternoon. Utica struck early and often, building an 8-0 cushion after just two-and-a-half innings. Ian Yetsko began the game with a base hit, Brandon Rawe followed with a double and third baseman Connor Narron brought both of them in with a two-run single. Yetsko reached and scored in each of the game’s first three innings, also collecting an RBI on a single in the second. “It’s huge to get on the board early because we can help our starting pitcher out and take some pressure off of him,” said Yetsko. “We’ve been doing a really good job of it lately; we’re swinging some hot bats so we’re just trying to ride it out.” Chris Cruz continued his incredible month of August by stretching his hitting streak to 10 games with a two-run single in the…
