BOX SCORE AND GAME STATS By Adam Rickert Utica Unicorns 12 AT Eastside Diamond Hoppers 9 UTICA — The Utica Unicorns scored six unanswered runs to finish up a previously-suspended game early Sunday afternoon, completing an impressive comeback and defeating the Eastside Diamond Hoppers, 12-9. The game was resumed after it had been suspended after six innings on July 8 with the Diamond Hoppers holding a 9-6 lead. It was resumed Sunday afternoon beginning in the top of the seventh inning. Third baseman Tyler McVicar had a monster game for the Unicorns before and after the delay. He cleared the bases with a three-run triple in the fourth inning, and then broke a 9-9 tie in the ninth inning with a three-run home run Sunday afternoon. The Unicorns faced a 4-0 deficit after four innings and came back to tie it with a four-run fifth, headlined by McVicar’s double. In the bottom of the inning, however, Eastside first baseman Dalton DiNatale deposited a fly ball into the lawn seats past the right field fence, giving his team a 7-4 advantage. “It was a great feeling,” said DiNatale, who has since signed with the Los Angeles Dodgers organization. “I’ve been in…
