BOX SCORE AND GAME STATS By Adam Rickert Utica Unicorns 4 AT Eastside Diamond Hoppers 2 UTICA — After coming back to beat the Eastside Diamond Hoppers in the resumption of a suspended game early Sunday afternoon, the Utica Unicorns were able to ride the momentum into the second game of the day, beating the Hoppers again by a 4-2 final. Utica, whose record shot up to 12-21, scored six runs in three innings to finish off a suspended game from July 8 earlier in the day and kept swinging the bat to begin the 2pm match. Second baseman Matt Page scored on a failed pickoff attempt in the first inning and Chris Cruz knocked in Brandon Rawe with a single to give the Unicorns a 2-0 lead right off the bat. “I just wanted to make sure I made some contact,” said Cruz. “I had a couple AB’s earlier in the week where I wasn’t able to get the runs in so it felt really good.” Page scored again on an RBI single in the fourth inning by Austin Crutcher and Cruz picked up another RBI in the fifth with a sacrifice fly. “I’ve just been doing drills and…
