FITZSIMMONS SOLD TO INDIANS

Quebec Capitales RHP Jon Fitzsimmons earned a spot in Tuesday’s Can-Am League/American Association All-Star Game. Now, he has earned a spot in affiliated baseball. Fitzsimmons has been sold to the Cleveland Indians, and will report to the Class A Lake County Capitains of the Midwest League. Fitzsimmons leaves Quebec with a 1-0 record and miniscule 1.25 ERA in 25 appearances, saving 13 games. Over 28.2 innings, the London, Ontario native has struck out 44 and walked just seven.
