Winnipeg 16, Kansas City 15 (11 Innings) – Box Winnipeg 1B Jacob Rogers singled home LF Josh Romanski with the game winning run in the bottom of the 11th inning as the Goldeyes beat the Kansas City T-Bones in a dramatic walk-off, 16-15. This contest was a big-time offensive slugfest as both teams combined to score 31 runs on 31 hits, including 10 for extra bases. Romanski went 2-for-3 on the night with three RBI and four runs scored while 2B Casio Grider had three hits, three runs scored and two RBI. Goldeyes reliever Cameron McVey hurled 3 1/3 scoreless innings to grab his second win of the season. For Kansas City in defeat, 1B Jake Blackwood had a solid game at the plate going 3-for-4 with a home run and three runs scored. Gary SouthShore 10, Texas 5 – Box Gary SouthShore pounded out 20 hits in the contest and rolled to a 10-5 victory over Texas. Seven hitters in the RailCats lineup had multi-hit games including 2B John Holland who went 2-for-5 with a home run, two runs scored and two RBI.
