STANTON TO TAKE REINS OF TROIS-RIVIERES

The Trois-Rivieres Aigles organization announced on Monday that T.J. Stanton has been named the club’s manager and director of baseball operations. The 35-year-old left his post as pitching coach with the Quebec Capitales to take the position with the Aigles. Stanton’s agreement will see him stay with the team through at least the 2017 season. He succeeds Maxime Poulin, who departed the club Sunday evening.
