ARIZONA FINDS WEALTH OF TALENT ON BOULDERS' STAFF

Durham, N.C. — The contract of Rockland Boulders RHP Markus Solbach was purchased by the Arizona Diamondbacks organization, the Can-Am League announced on Friday.He is the second Boulders pitcher to have his contract purchased by the Diamondbacks this week, following fellow RHP Alex Gouin. Solbach has been excellent in his first season with the Boulders, currently tied for the league lead with six victories and tied for third with 52 strikeouts to go along with a 2.43 ERA in 74.0 innings of work.
