The Ottawa Champions scored six runs in the fifth inning to blow open a tight contest and cruise to a 9-6 victory over the New Jersey Jackals in game one of a doubleheader. Ottawa 2B Albert Cartwright (pictured) led the way offensively going 3-for-4 with two runs scored and two RBI. In game two, Ottawa completed the doubleheader sweep as they broke a 2-2 tie with a run in the third and four more in the fourth to win going away, 7-3.In other league action tonight, Rockland visits Quebec and Trois-Rivieres plays host to Sussex County.
