The game was tied after nine innings thanks to a fourth-inning solo shot from CF Reggie Abercrombie and a third-inning RBI from 1B Alex Crosby. For the game, Heisler and SS Maikol Gonzalez both went 3-for-7 to lead the team. For the RailCats, who had just six hits in the game, both DH Jeremy Hamilton and CF Brennan Metzger registered a pair of hits. Both starting pitchers, Duke Von Schamann and Charle Rosario had strong appearances as they both allowed just one run in eight innings. Von Schamann gave up just two hits. Reliever Brandon Shimo earned the win for working the final two innings.
