LENNERTON NAMED PLAYER OF THE WEEK

The official statistician of the Can-Am Leauge, Pointstreak, has announced that Quebec Capitales’ 1B Jordan Lennerton (pictured) has been named this week’s Pointstreak Player of the Week for the week ending June 26th. Lennerton had a fantastic week at the plate hitting .478 (11-for-23) with six RBI and four runs scored. The Oregon State alum’s week was highlighted by a 4-for-5 performance on June 22 in an 11-3 victory over Shikoku Island. Most recently, on June 26, he went 3-for-4 with two RBI and a run scored in a 9-6 win at Sussex County.
