BOUCHER'S BLAST GUIDES CHAMPIONS OVER CUBAN NATIONAL TEAM

DH Sean Boucher’s (pictured) three-run home run in the fifth inning broke a 3-3 tie as Ottawa defeated the Cuban National Team 6-3. Starter Daniel Cordero received the win throwing six innings, allowing two earned runs and reliever Tyler Wilson recorded the save tossing a scoreless ninth inning. Boucher guided the offense going 3-for-4 with three RBI and two runs scored. For the Cuban National Team SS Yorbi Borroto went 3-for-4. Elsewhere, New Jersey topped Trois-Rivieres 9-7, Quebec edged Sussex County 6-5 and Shikoku Island defeated Rockland 5-4 in ten innings.
