NORMAL, Ill. – The Normal CornBelters, presented by Illinois Corn Farmers, are excited to announce Cassadee Pope as the supporting musical act for the Chris Young Concert on July 22nd, the second show of the Dupont Pioneer Country concert lineup. Cassadee Pope was the winner of the third season of NBC’s The Voice. The West Palm Beach, Florida Native is a powerful singer with a bent toward both pop and country. Pope started her career in 2008 as one of the co-founders of the punk-pop band Hey Monday along with guitarist Mike Gentile. Later that same year, Hey Monday released their debut album, Hold on Tight. In 2012 Pope, parted ways with Hey Monday to pursue a solo career, in doing so she auditioned for and was accepted on NBC’s reality singing competition The Voice. Since winning The Voice Cassadee Pope has signed to Universal Music Group and worked on her debut solo album, Frame by Frame which was released in October 2013. In January 2016 Chris Young and Cassadee Pope released the single “Think of You” on the radio. Since then it has reached as high as 5th on the Country Billboard Charts. Tickets…
