We at IndependentBaseball.net want to express our deepest condolences to the family of Ken Shepard, his friends and the Bridgeport Bluefish organization. He passed away this Friday after a long battle with cancer, while still acting as the GM for the Bluefish this year.

The Bluefish will have “Ken Shepard Day” on September 14. Pete Rose is scheduled to be the guest manager for the game, and the Bluefish will auction off jerseys.
