FRANKLIN, Wis. – The Milwaukee Milkmen were already playing from behind early Saturday night at Franklin Field against the Winnipeg Goldeyes until the bottom of the second inning.
That’s the inning where #4 Wil Kengor tied the game with a triple center field, scoring #1 Bryan Torres, #14 Dylan Kelly and #6 Jeremiah Burks.
Milkmen catcher #14 Dylan Kelly added a solo home run in the bottom of the 4th to briefly take the lead but it mostly Goldeyes after that. Adding three runs in the 6th and 8th innings.
The Milkmen did make a late effort in the bottom of the 8th with a two run homer from shortstop #6 Jeremiah Burks but it wasn’t enough.
Final Score: Milwaukee Milkmen 6, Winnipeg Goldeyes 9.
*If the weather allows, the rubber match will be Sunday afternoon, 1pm at Franklin Field.
