The Dogs pulled within 5-2 in the top of the fourth on a two-out, two-run double off the right-centre field wall from Stevie Wilkerson.  Chicago (43-22) brought the tying run to the plate before Goldeyes’ starter Luis Ramirez retired Anfernee Grier on a lineout to centre.

The Goldeyes re-extended the lead in the bottom of the fourth.  Hidekel Gonzalez doubled down the left field line with one out and scored on a double to left-centre by Rivera.  Sagdal followed with an RBI single down the right field line.

Navarro provided the game’s final margin with an RBI double off the wall in right that chased home Rivera in the bottom of the eighth.
