LINCOLN, Nebraska – Josh Altmann scored on Ryan Long’s 11th inning sacrifice fly moments after Altmann became Lincoln’s first-ever 20-homer, 20-steal player, and the Saltdogs walked-off the Milkmen 9-8 for the franchise’s 1000th win on Tuesday night at Haymarket Park. BOX SCORE Altmann walked to begin the 11th, and stole his 20th base of the season while a throwing error allowed him to reach third base. Long’s sacrifice fly was his second walk-off winner this year, and the ‘Dogs now have a league-best 20 wins in one-run games. Lincoln (50-44) had an 8-4 lead after back-to-back homers from Altmann and Long in the 6th, but Milwaukee (55-39) got three in the 7th – including a two-run homer from Adam Brett Walker II, his 30th on the year – before Will Kengor tied the game with an RBI double in the 9th.
