Équipe Québec outfielder L.P. Pelletier and Washington Wild Things left-hander Ryan Hennen have won this week’s Player and Pitcher of the Week, respectively. These awards are chosen by Pointstreak, who is the official statistical provider of the Frontier League. This is Pelletier’s first time winning the Player of the Week award and the second weekly award for Québec this season, after Miguel Cienfuegos won Pitcher of the Week in the second week of the season. Pelletier led the league this week with thirteen hits, including four doubles, a triple, and three home runs, and he also recorded seven RBIs. He hit .481 over six games this week and came around to score a league-best twelve times. The 25-year-old is in his first season in the Frontier League.
