Sunday provided a thrilling finish to the week’s Frontier League action, with two extra-innings finishes, and a home run derby win as well. Both teams matched each other’s scoring over the first three frames. In the first inning, Trevor Achenbach grounded into a double play to bring home the Crushers’ first run. In the bottom half of the first, Andy DeJesus reached third and stole home to tie the game at 1-1, beating the tag after Paul Hall, Jr.’s pitch home.
