Despite a couple of rainouts, Friday’s Frontier League action still had plenty to offer, including some excellent pitching performances. Catch up on anything you may have missed around the league here: The New Jersey Jackals swept their doubleheader with the New York Boulders. The first game finished 8-1 Jackals. New Jersey jumped out front with four runs in the third inning. Santiago Chirino singled home two runs, Dalton Combs followed with another RBI on a single. Chirino then scored on a sacrifice fly by Jason Agresti to make it 4-0. In the bottom half, Ryan Ramiz singled home a run for New York to make it 4-1. Chirino singled home another run for the Jackals in the fifth, and in the sixth, Todd Isaacs doubled home two more.
