UTICA, Mich. – Cristian Laboy hit a grand slam in the fourth inning, went 2-for-3 with five RBIs and two runs scored to lead the Birmingham Bloomfield Beavers (10-17) to a 9-2 victory over the Eastside Diamond Hoppers (11-12) on Sunday at Jimmy John’s Field. Eric Santiago finished the game 3-for-3 with two runs scored, while Keshawn Lynch had two hits, one run scored and walked once. Austin Shea earned his first USPBL win throwing 5.0 innings, giving up no runs and striking out six.
