Winnipeg 11, Sioux City 7 – Box Score 2B Dakota Conners gave the Winnipeg Goldeyes (34-35) an 11-7 win against the Sioux City Explorers with a walk-off grand slam in the Goldeyes second true home game of the season. The Goldeyes were trailing 5-0 heading into the bottom of the sixth inning. Winnipeg tied the score in that frame as C Deon Stafford hit into a fielder’s choice that plated 1B Kyle Martin and then later scored on a sac fly and, Conners (4-for-5) singled home a pair of runs and then scored on a SS Wes Darvill (2-for-5) single. RBIs from SS Brendon Dadson (2-for-4) and C Jacob Bockelie (2-for-5) pushed the Explorers back in front 7-5 in the top of the eighth inning, but the Goldeyes weren’t finished yet.
